Done! Proto-Electronics.com is ISO 9001:2015 certified since 15th June 2017. It’s the “holy grail” of certifications and is a decisive advantage that makes it possible to assess and adapt our quality process in the widest sense of the term.
Created in 1987 by the International Standards Organisation, this ISO standard defines the rules for a quality management system focussed on the customer, the involvement of senior management, continuous improvement, increased risk-awareness, etc. Currently many businesses require their partners and suppliers to be ISO 9001:2015 certified
Our objective is to surpass the boundaries of the business by adopting a quality management system and making it an unwavering red line at all levels: human, production and services, administration and operational departments (marketing, IT and sales).
As an extension, continuous improvement is a fully fledged part of our vision for the future and our growth, and has been since the very outset of Proto-Electronics.com. For example, in 2017 we invested almost €400,000 in new machines so that we can grow and improve production, but also optimise quality control.
Another enlightening example is the internal work on customer support and experience with the arrival in the team of a Webmarketer in April 2017 and a new Customer Officer in May 2017.
As you can see, we have put customers at the heart of our focus so that we can maintain our leading position in online PCB prototyping.
For Damien Rossignon, CEO “Obtaining the ISO 9001: 2015 certification is first and foremost the starting point of a continuous improvement approach. The fact that the audit was a positive experience for the teams shows the mobilisation for its future development. “.
